Euclideon is looking for junior programmers with a keen interest in problem solving. There is an expectation of self-sufficiency and you must be able to work with others and yearn to gain experience in many disciplines.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Low level programming often associated with 3D graphics
  • Read, review and approve work submitted by other technical staff
  • Typical software bug fixing, but also self-driven user experience improvements
  • Liaising with quality assurance staff
  • Program design and planning with a focus on detail

Skills and experience

  • C++ and/or C – at least 2 years’ programming experience (either significant personal projects or full-time employment)
  • Knowledge of 3D maths. Manipulating matrices, vectors and coordinate systems will be part of your daily tasks
  • Understanding of version control
  • Willingness to learn and adapt quickly
  • Ability to work within a team

Additional valuable skills

  • Experience building GUI systems
  • How to get things on-screen at a low level (we use OpenGL & SDL)
  • JIRA – or any other bug tracking software
  • Git – or any other version control
  • Visual Studio
  • Android, Linux and Apple development skills

  • Respond to customer queries

Euclideon is looking for an additional Quality Assurance team member due to new projects arising.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Following processes for test plan throughout phases of testing cycle.
  • Ensuring products meet quality requirements through test planning, test execution and issue tracking.
  • Work closely towards the deadlines of projects
  • Keep raising the bar on the standard of all the quality assurance processes for every project.
  • Review test strategies and see that all the various kinds of testing like functional, performance, stress, acceptance etc. are getting covered.
  • Assisting with other roles as instructed by management from time to time.

Euclideon requires a bright accountant to support the company with accounting responsibilities. Euclideon has doubled in staff over the last 2 years, entered into commercial arrangements with many customers and now require a proactive individual to join the team.

The Role:

  • Reporting to the Operations Director you will be involved with the preparation of financial and management reports for all companies within the group.
  • You will assist with budgeting
  • You will be responsible for company reporting and tax returns
  • You will assist with the preparation of the R&D grant and other smaller grants.
  • You will be responsible for uploading payments and allocating in MYOB
  • You will be responsible for bank reconciliations
  • Other accounting work as may be required

To be successful in this position, the ideal candidate must:

  • Must have minimum of 10 years local experience
  • Must be CA qualified or in final stages of Completion
  • Experience in the preparation of R&D Grants and other grants essential;
  • Have experience in the preparation of financial accounts and income tax returns for individuals, partnerships and companies in wide range of industries, along with all common reporting requirements for small and large entities
  • Have experience in the preparation of FBT returns;
  • Have experience in the preparation of BAS’s and payroll tax;
  • Experience with MYOB essential;
  • Experience with multi-currency accounts essential;
  • Experience with off-shore companies preferred;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong collaborative and team relationship building skills;
  • Excellent quality control and work papers are a necessity;

Please note this role is for permanent residents of Australia with at least 5 years Australian business experience.
